Waterman Carene Discontinued?

We can still buy as new, unused, Carenes from their conception years, 1997/98, so there were no concerns in my 1/4.

Does anyone own an Amethyst Bronze. I have never seen one for sale in the UK but plenty in the USA.

Yes, I've got one - it was my first Carene, although obviously not my last. Bought on here for £50, I seem to remember.

Not necessarily. The one I bought (admittedly second hand) leaked profusely and Waterman offered to 'repair' it for me for £167 (about $217). I bought a new nib section instead.....
