Can't Unscrew Pen To Replace Cartridge: Monteverde Jewelria Resin Fountain Pen

I have a MONTEVERDE Jewelria Round Resin Fountain Pen. For some reason, it is stuck. I have tried soaking it in water overnight, still no luck. An suggestions? Its not much good if I can't open it to replace the cartridge! (Its a mini, no converter) Help!!

Do you have a rubber grippy or something similar? That's helped me unscrew many. Also, try soaking in water with a little dishwashing liquid. Some hours may be necessary. Eventually should open...

Tried that. Soaking some more... Any other ideas out there?

Two rubber grippy pads? One on the section and one on the barrel?

Mild heat to the barrel with your hand on the section to keep it from heating (Hair dryer). Then try to twist.
