Imprint Highlighting

I was wondering what you folk use to highlight imprints? I am using a white pencil, but it a bit gritty. Also, what do you use for the bronze used on some Parker Duofolds?

You can get a white China clay pencil that will do the job but be aware that clay generally is highly abrasive. I doubt you would be doing it enough to create a problem but neither would I risk it on very highly polished surfaces as it might remove lustre.

A white crayon also works.

The white Staedtler pencil can be a little abrasive, so I stopped using that.

I like the white china marking pencil also.

And, since crayons work... you can use any color crayon that you like. Sometimes black looks better than white. Get a box with a bronze or gold crayon and you are all set. At back to school time, they are like 25 cents for a box at Target. You will never in your life use up a single white crayon, or any other color, marking pen imprints. Makes for a good overall value.
