Hiya!

I have an Esterbrook SJ that has recently develop 2 cracks in its section...

BUT

I kinda think the SJ is too small....

SO

I have 2 options....

Either replace the section or get a bigger Estie.

How big do Esties get anyways?

Is there any way I could part out my SJ?

Thanks!

Biggest is the J. Larger in diameter and a bit longer. Go there.

What you "should" do is, of course, up to you, but you certainly could try to sell the parts.

Barrels and caps are always in demand.

You might wish to keep the nib unit; it will fit a J size.

Good luck!

OK...

But is there anybody interested in these parts??

(I will try to put em on classifieds.)

Thanks...

I am just a "one and only" type of person...

... It's tough ....

But it keeps the hobby under control.

(And I have a NOS M2 and a little Esterbrook advertisement already....)

I wouldn't part it out, as in try to sell the parts individually. Just sell it whole and note the cracked section. Anyone who's into Esties is likely to have an extra section lying around and can get this writing in about 5 minutes.

I would be interested, but I prefer the J as well and will probably sell the SJs and LJs that I have.

Cheers.

I was able to trade it for a BLACK J....

I don't really like black as an Esterbrook color.

If you are interested in trading it for a colored J, (regular J), then please PM me.
