A Small Fp-Friendly Notebook To Pack Into A Cd Jewel Case?

Could someone recommend a small notebook that we could fit within the jewel case? I have a small project and I want to create some handwritten liner notes for it. I want to fit it in the CD case if I can get a good enough match.

Thanks!

The closest match I can find would be passport size, which is a hair too tall (looks like the space available is just under 4.75", and these are 3.5 x 4.88. But if you could trim the top / bottom, they would be pretty good. Especially with thin Tomoe River paper: https://www.gouletpens.com/goulet-notebook-52gsm-tomoe-river-paper-passport-tn-lined/p/GP-35134

By way of things that don't fill that space, there's the mini Apica CD-5 and CD-7 (2.83x4.02), and the Rhodia or Clairefontaine (2.95x4.72). I have the Apica and it will close inside a jewel case:

And here's the 68g version of that Goulet passport size - you can't see it, but the cover would not close securely:

Hopefully someone else can find something that fits better. The alternative, of course, is to custom print something or custom fold / staple loose leaf paper to make your own regular-size CD booklet. :)

Curious what you come up with in the end.

I have an Apica notebook like that and it's a great little notebook.

Yeah, I really like them. They're also good for giving away with fountain pens when you want to get someone hooked. ;)

I love my Apica CD-5. I have been using them since early 2014. Great shirt pocket size notebook, and I am sure it would fit in a jewel case and close. I will be starting a new one in the next few weeks. I get them from Goulet. They are less than $2.00 each. I usually buy a couple at a time.

I just got one. I'll post results once I write it up.

The CD-7 (same size, different colors) is on sale right now - $0.30 off - you might want to stock up on them. :)

Full size jewel case or the thinner style?

Most case suppliers also carry reformatted, punch-out paper stocks for their cases. I have not seen multi-page inserts but they might exist.

Avery once sold software for composing cd case labels that included the base with its two fold up edges and a folding top insert. I believe they also sold the prepunched paper stocks. Sorry, this was way back when cds were the new cutting edge.

Don’t neglect the functional efficiency of rubber stamps if you creating more than a few of these inserts.

Wish you the best on your project.

I ride a recumbent, I play go, I use Macintosh so of course I use a fountain pen.

Actually I have both the standard and the slim. I could use either.

This is a gift for someone I wanted to write liner notes. Was hoping for something a little more than those punch out cards (Staples still has them). I'll tuck those little notebooks under and say that is good.
