I've not had a chance to try this one, as my usual US distributors do not stock the two latest Kyoto colors (Arashiyama and Azukiiro). This looks like a nice rusty orange, though. I don't think I have a similar orange in my collection yet.

 

I also like the name, although I'm not entirely sure how "frost" translates into this orange color. I associate Arashiyama with bamboo, so I must be missing something here.

And it is indeed a beautiful rusty orange. Very warm, very autumn like.

I was positively surprised by this one.

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, overseas shipping more than doubles the cost of purchase, so I will continue to be patient and cross my fingers :)

 

I haven't seen a retailer stock Azukiiro, but I think you can buy it through Takeda Jimuki's own web shop and have it delivered via proxy service such as White Rabbit Express. However, I haven't used such services before so I have no idea how they work!
