Pfm Harlequin

Hello Sheaffer Fans!

I thought I'd share a pen I've been using for several months. I love it and use it as my day to day PFM (I could use a different one every day of the month from my PFM collection!).

I realised I had a few spare bits from various repairs and projects that didn't conclude well, and so I thought I'd make my own "Harlequin" PFM!

I'm sure I'm not the fist to do this, but, hey-ho I like it and thought I'd share.

Green III cap, grey/gold nib section, blue barrel & burgundy tassie!

Interested in your thoughts,

Noj.

I have a few P51s with different color hoods as the tips of their own original color hoods were broken and fallen off. I love them all.

Your PFM is lovely. As long as the innards are original the outer attire do not make any difference. At least for me.

...random aside - I still have some 30 rolls of unused, long-expired Kodachrome 64 film (35mm). They have been frozen since 2009. No idea why I have held on to them for this long, but I guess I'm hoping for a miracle. I too have never developed colour film but I still d&p my B&W to this day. As a passion, of course.

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      >Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color,<   I'm sure they were, and my answer assumes that. It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film.
