As a complete newbie to Parker 51s I'd like to know what the ref 'GA06' on a sellers description means, any suggestions? I have searched but no results.

May be seller's own cataloguing reference. However, I do acknowledge ignorance in this regard.

Thanks, just found out what it means, it is the sellers reference.

How did you determine this?

Emailed him.

Asking the seller is usually the best approach. A close second would be having random people on the internet guess correctly.

Probably better than reading sheep entrails during the eclipse.

Why don't you just come out and say what you mean, FarmBoy? Your references to "random people" and "internet guesses" has a bit of an eye-rolling tone to it.

Asking a seller may not be the best approach initially, particularly if you don't want to alert the seller to your interest at that stage and asking random people to guess is nowhere near "a close second". I didn't ask for guesses from random people, I specifically asked on this forum if anyone knew what the reference meant, nothing random about that.
