Does Sailor make a grey --- gray ---- ink? I can not tell by the words I see. C. S.

I did a Google search for Sailor grey ink: Sailor Jentle Chu-su

The Chu-su is a beautiful gray, but it has purple overtones.

Oh the standard Sailor inks available in the US, Chu-shu from the Four Seasons line is a gray leaning to purple. Some swabs/samples online show it as a dark purple, but I didn't find that to be the case. visvamitra's review identifies it as a gray, likewise Lgsoltek, who also has comparisons with other gray inks.

 

Might want to consider getting a sample.

I don't really need more than my first bottle of MB's 90th Anniversary, Permanent Grey or GVFC's Stone Grey & suspect I will die with more in each bottle than other colors. I do like ChuShu, but don't really think of it as "grey," merely "an interesting ink."

Hatobanezu from Maruzen is also a Gray and I'm sure one of the Kobe Inks is gray...
