My favorite handmade pen maker is the Kanilea Pen Co. http://kanileapenco.com/. They make bright, vibrant pens with a Hawaiian theme. The models do not have a lot of furniture giving them a simple, elegant look despite the bright colors. I have two, the lava pen and the sun pen, and love them both.

On my wishlist also.

I had a great experience with Fosfor Pens in India - got a really lovely wood and ebonite pen. Well worth investigating, I know other FPNers have also been happy.
