Nemosine Pleiades Blue/black

Here's another one I really like. True blue black, not bright blue, or teal black, or purple black. It's dry and well behaved. The water resistance is disappointing, but if something gets wet it'll probably remain legible. I don't currently have a wet pen inked with it but it was fantastic when I tried it with a dip pen!

Nice ink. How's the flow and lubrication? Did you get it from Goulet?

Life is too short to drink bad wine (Goethe)

I did! Flow is good, lubrication so so. No hard starts or anything but it is dry.

Thank you for this review. I love blue black ink especially when the hue is neither black nor blue, Nemosine seems to be more blue.

Kelly, I really love the pen!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Me too! Edison Collier antique marble, extra fine.

  • 2 weeks later...

Update after I've been using this ink for a while: it's DRY. I've had flow issues in one pen, another that has a decent amount of feedback already became pretty unpleasant to write with (this pen is glorious with other inks).

I still like this ink but it needs a wet pen with a good seal that doesn't dry out.
