Pardon? You have what looks to me like a blue marble, and called it "Vibrant Green"???

That's what happens when you're trying to write while your dog is pulling on your sleeve to go play with him :D .

 

It's Vibrant Blue, of course!

Stipula Saffron in the black M300, when I went to use it last night and saw it was empty. Very strange as I clearly remember filling it within the last month or so. Perhaps I'm remembering seeing myself fill it in the future. :yikes:

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Around 2003, I bought an M620 "Berlin" fountain pen with a Broad nib, originally as a gift to a friend. As it turned out, the recipient preferred roller balls over fountain pens, and so I got them a nice roller instead. I kept the pen, but just never inked it. Because I like sets, I found a K620 "Berlin" ballpoint at a good price last year, and put it on the shelf with the Berlin fountain pen.

 

I attended the Boston Pelikan Hub last Friday, and brought the pen with me, with the intent to put ink in it at the event. Edelstein Jade was my favorite green in the Edelstein sampling station, so I inked it up, and they look great together! I may replace the B nib with an OB that I have sitting around, but it feels good to put another Pelikan into service. The little notebook under the pens was made by one of the other attendees, and everyone attending received one.

I really like that pen, I mean I REALLY like that pen!

 

 

It looks even better when photographed in better light than the horrible fluorescents in my office!

 

If you can find one at a good price, you won't regret owning and using it. The pattern of light green plastic, with dark green flecks, black flecks, and pearlized flecks is different for each pen.

For me the 6XX varieties are the Goldilocks zone of Pelikans, though I have to admit that M700 and the ancient 100's and 101's also get my blood pumpin'.

 

This pen is on my lust list, as are a 101 grey binde and a couple 'complete the set' Parkers.

The Cities series has some true gems, and a few (to my taste) clunkers. Sadly, I don't have the budget to get all the varieties that I want, so I have to make do with the single pattern that is my favorite. I do wish that they'd made pencils to match the fountain pens and ballpoints (and rollerballs, later in the series). I'd buy a Berlin pencil in a heartbeat.

 

I haven't tried a 100 or 101, and I really should. I'd love anything from the 700's: Toledo 700/710, silver cap 730, Jubilee 750 or 760.

WOW!!! I love that color scheme!!! I will have to put that on my list!!!

Very lovely Khan! Makes me want to slip over to the 'bay and buy another one :D but it'd probably be cheaper if I just walk down the hall and get one out of the nest box...

      Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

      It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

      Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
