Wow!

I can't say I like it that much, but well done for making an effort, and a rather splendid looking italic nib to boot.

Thanks for posting that. Not a fan of metal sections but the nib looks beautiful. It's nice to see they have gotten away from medium-only nibs on LEs.

Wow! Tough crowd. This is a gorgeous pen with a beautiful presentation box. What am I missing?

I don't mind this effort, the price scares me a little though.

Nice of Parker to include an empty bottle of ink. :)

It was listed on a well known web store briefly for around 1200-1500 euros, can't remember exactly.

At EUR 3500 including VAT. The actual price should be around the price of a MB PoA I think.

It's not very likely to get a pen with real lapis lazuli top with just EUR 1500.

Ok, yep that's right. My memory was hazy for a reason, I saw the price and instantly switched off.

Well, it is always good to see some news from the old manufacturers. At least this said us that Parker is still alive, I would like also to see a new model substituting the Sonnet (which never inspired me), whereas I appreciate very much the new Duofolds (especially the big red).

I like the box a lot more than the pen.

Metal sections are non-starters for me. The design on the cap looks more like spider webs than anything else. The price is beyond the range of reason. It probably writes great though.

Like large faced gold and diamond encrusted watches for men, this is beyond the functional and is treading a fine line towards the vulgar. Given the presentation case and price, this is a trophy and is unlikely to be inked "in case it gets dirty and reduces its value." This Duofold is destined to spend it's life on a shelf or in a bookcase being looked at.

I like it, esp the blue tones and the gold against it. The finial looks like a mix between sea & islands and the milky way, but not quite. Hard to pinpoint.

Apart from the ridiculous price I also don't like metal grip sections and heavy pens, this one looks like it might be rather heavy.

That close up of the nib appears to be a render. Or it's just been Photoshopped to death. Either way, I sort of like the nib, but the rest of it is just "meh" for me.

I was under the impression it's all computer generated.

I'm sure it'll appeal to someone, but I am not that person.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
