Ink Rambling - Diamine Chopin . . .

You know that feeling when you're first introduced to someone and you think "Wow, how lovely are you?". That.

(The merest hint of purple Chopin exhibits isn't apparent on the Mnemosyne Word cards but evident on the Rhodia Uni pad)

Ah, I do enjoy your ink ramblings, Tas. Thank you. I hope you and Frederic will be very happy together. <insert cupid here> :D

We're still on our honeymoon. I'll keep you posted. :)

Great rambling :) I'm waiting for Ina-Ho and Stipula ones :)

Don't hold your breath. Whilst I find Ina Hos' colour really pleasing and complementary to so many other inks' hues, I'm finding my one and only Iroshizuku to be a feathery nuisance :(

Lovely, like a bluer brother of GdP.

Its colour has chameleon qualities. I like that, in a Rikyu Cha kind of way.

That's a good one. Fits nicely with the colour itself. One of the first I got before ordering the whole crates of both (composers and flowers)....

Great review. I've not ventured down the greys route yet, but it does look a good performer.

I'm happy to hear people are enjoying the "ramblings" - I'm not methodical enough to make a "proper" review and prefer a ramble or a sketch to put over an ink's qualities.

NB - ManofKent. Watch out, those greys are a sneaky bunch. Once you allow a couple into your home they'll breed like rabbits :bunny01: :bunny01:

I've tried:

Lexington Grey B) B) (Best all rounder for me)
Diamone Grey

Caran d'Ache Infinity Grey -_-

PR Gray Flannel :)

Califolio Gris de Payne :D

Blue Merle (ahh, Blue Merle)

Kobe #46 Museum Grey

Diamine Silver Fox

Iroshizuku Fuyu Syogun

J Herbin Gris Nuage :( (washes only)

Papier Plume Oyster Grey

and if money was no object (thank you Jean for the sample) Hieronymous Blue 01 :puddle: - something very special about using this one.

Thank you for this wonderful rambling.

I did fall in love with this ink recently too ... after using Vivaldi quite a while now.

Both are great greys with a special touch.

Very nice rambling. Grays are not my thing, but if dark enough could get use. But then I remember I have a lot of blacks.
