Platinum BelAge exists some time already, I think.

The design changed slightly over time.

older ? LINK

newer? LINK

and a bit more special: LINK

Has someone of you data about the years of production of these styles?

Especially, as I just bought the "older" style pen - same colour.

Thank you.

I just saw that the pen with the special clip has a 14K nib. Where would you find a 14K or 18K nib for such a pen? Or would you just cannibalize other pens?

You might be able to fit the nib of a PTL-5000a in it (around 45US$ from Amazon sometimes cheaper on ebay). I don't think Platinum sell separate nibs and even if they did I doubt you'd be able to get a 14k nib for less anyway.

Actually, all of the pens above are in a catalog from 1989 - even the one with the special clip.

I just bought another platinum pen with a similar design with an 18K nib. If I am lucky, I can use this nib. It was a pen, nobody wanted - so it was just 10 USD.

That third link, the beige BelAge... I've got one of those. Weirdly, you only find it described as a "BelAge" on eBay posts... Does any one has a catalog that shows that pen described by Platinum as a "BelAge" series?

Who knows what ink lurks in the hearts of pen? The Shadow knows!
