Jetpens

FOUR X FOUR

I can't recommend jet pens enough for normal vanilla pen purchases and stationary. Fast shipping. If you are buying a grail pen I would recommend a retailer with personal connection (i.e. Classic fountain pens or Goulet)

I've had positive experience with JetPens, too. I'm glad to support them considering the wealth of information available on their website. This also applies to Goulet Pens and their videos...

I've ordered many times from them. They once sent me a flawed item and resolved the problem quickly and to my satisfaction.

Just realized they carry L'Artisan Pastelier... Just had to order Bleu Equinoxe 6 and Diamine Ancient Copper.

Happy to join the chorus on this one. :D

JetPens is fantastic. Really great selection, great prices, fast shipping, free shipping (if you spend $25, and who doesn't?), and phenomenal customer support. They're my first stop for all things pen-related.

I've bought stuff from them a few times, and the experiences were pleasant. I agree that they have all kinds of useful information on their website. I buy from Goulet too, and they have been great.

I also have good experience with them. The price is fair and fast shipping. I like free shipping option, too!

Very positive experiences. I like BOTH JetPens and Goulet and spread my money among them, and others!

I live down the street and thus I am regular. Just ordered my first Diamine Ancient Copper Ink and a Pilot Metropolitan. It arrived within a day. Simply amazing. Always their customer service is top-notch.

I just placed a Jetpens order. Some things to note:

The free U.S. shipping over $25 is USPS Standard, so no tracking and it's slower than USPS Priority. Even though I qualified for the free shipping, I opted for the USPS Priority shipping for $6.75 from California to Florida. (I wanted the box to arrive on or before mid-day Friday so it can be trans-shipped overseas over the weekend). Unfortunately, Jetpens gave me no discount for not using the free standard shipping they offered :(

My order was placed with Jetpens Monday morning 15 May 2017 California time. The shipment was delivered Wednesday afternoon 17 May 2017 Florida time and tracked online all the way. That's fast. It had to go by air. USPS Standard shipping would have likely gone by ground.

My order included a $25 Gift Certificate which was given to me by an online stationary blogger. The $25 threshold for free U.S. shipping does not include gift certificates, but you can use gift certificates in an order and provided your total paid exceeds $25 after the gift certificate, you get free standard shipping.

All items listed as in-stock shipped according to the invoice, no surprise back-orders. Payment was via a U.S. credit card even though I am currently overseas, this is something that is rapidly being removed from a lot E-commerce sites. Now PayPal will no longer allow me to pay from my overseas location using my still otherwise fully valid U.S. Paypal account.

My order will be forwarded to me overseas from Florida in my regular mail trans-shipment. Interestingly, my Forwarder notified me that the Jetpens shipment did not come with a Commercial Invoice in or on the box! I found this interesting. Usually for domestic shipments, unless the buyer requests otherwise an invoice is always included in the box. (A legitimate case where the buyer might ask the sender to not include an invoice in the box is if the item is a gift.)

In-conclusion: Another order professionally fulfilled by Jetpens. I just wish their prices were lower, and they should give you a discount if you spend $25 or more, and do not opt for the free USPS Standard shipping.

I recently ordered a handful of stuff from jetpens. Got the free shipping, got the package a day and a half later, everything as to be expected. And then I tried the free charlie pen I got with a big bottle of Noodler's and it was leaking from where the nib went into the feed section. I messaged them and I got a response almost immediately. They gave me links on tips and then when that didn't work, they sent me a new charlie pen. No exchange or return, just sent me a free pen. And the new pen works like a dream!

I am the tarot reading, bookworm, whiskey drinking, witchcraft practicing, old fashioned writing, aunt Beasty in my family and I love it. Tarot readings for sale or trade, especially ink as I've lost all of my pen stuff from a bad burglary last year. And I need penpals! Anyone interested, please PM me!

I've purchased once and it went well. They were the only retailer that had the products I wanted in stock and I needed them (for a gift) relatively quickly. So I was a little nervous as I had little choice... but like I said, the experience was great.

I'll echo that while they're seemingly quiet on social media compared to the other brands, their website is indeed a treasure trove of great information. They have entire mini-sites set up for things like nib smoothing, etc. Lots of great beginner and intermediate info.

I have had a very positive shopping experience with Jetpens. Their products are packaged well and the domestic shipping was free as I had ordered above $25. My medium Pilot metropolitan came from them and it worked amazingly well from the get go out of the box.

Love them! But oh so dangerous. So many wonderful things there. Sometimes they don't have the best prices. They had the Pilot Kakuno before it started showing up at more sites. But Jet Pens offers more colors.

Shipping is fairly quick.

I've ordered from them often. Another vote of confidence for Jet Pens.

Just got three bottles of Waterman ink from them yesterday--their products are not limited to Japanese ones.

One of my favorite things they carry is Tomoe River refills by Raymay that fit FiloFax binders. These refills are inexpensive and of very good quality.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Jetpens is great!!!! I've bought from them a few times. Jetpens and Goulet are my go-to; if one doesn't have it, usually the other will.

Love them. Ordered a few things over the last several years, the last one being an Amber 823. Put my purchase in noon-ish on wednesday and it's already on the truck to be delivered today, according to tracking. Looks like I got upgraded to Priority Shipping at no extra charge.

(On a side note : I wish Goulet found a way to lower their shipping costs. Almost everyone else manages to work out discounts above a certain amount, except them. The last time I remember was a temporary promotion a few years back, offering free shipping somewhere above the $70-100 range, forget the exact amount).

I like their curated collections and comparison articles.

They are also somewhat unique (to me at least) with their strong focus on Japanese stationery. I blame them for getting me hooked on Kokuyo and Apica papers :o :O :o

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
