On Yahoo Taiwan, I saw a pen which was described as Saifor F-4 but when looking closely, it is actually a Sailor pen. And there is no "Made in Taiwan" inscription on the nib. The style is very similar - the colors are different. The slim style points to the end of 70ies or the 80ies.

I started a request on the support center of Sailor. I hope they are similar responsive as the Pilot support.

If I am lucky, someone here is knowledgeable too.

Sailor, along with Platinum or perhaps others, had overseas manufacturing facilities, their Taiwanese operations are the best known. I very much doubt if Sailor's Taiwanese operation is still extant, my two current model, lowest-end Sailors are both made in Japan.

No, I am not going to list my pens here.

Thank you, Seele.

Yes, you are correct, and now searching for Sailor f-4 nibs brought up a review of this pen - Link

"older units of the High-Ace pen carry an additional inscription on the nib: Made in Taiwan"

"Sailor started a manufacturing plant in Taiwan in 1973"
