What To Do With Empty Ink Bottles

I have been wondering for awhile about what to do with my empty ink bottles. Seemed to be "crime" to just throw them away! I came up with an idea ------ don't remember if it was original or if I got it from someone else. (I am old!) --- Now, after a friend gave me a few of his empty bottles, I now have 15 ink bottles each filled with water and a few drops of different color inks, resting on a large window ledge, in the beautiful afternoon sunlight. To say that it is a beautiful thing to look at, is an under statement!

Not much left of them, but I do pick up the big pieces if there are any.

For those people with large collections of empty bottles, why not do a pif or sell them or something? I'm sure that newbies like me would love a few empty bottles. Goulet sells their empties, but the nicer ones are always so expensive.

Empty ink bottles?????

I almost always slow down to next to no use, when the ink bottle gets low.

Those that are good, Pelikan, Waterman can be filled with other inks that have poorly designed bottles.

It helps to label them.
