Does Quink Still Contain Solv-X?

Back in the day, Parker always advertised their Quink as "the only ink containing Solv-X." Now, it's been some time since Parker dropped the Solv-X name from their packaging. What's the reason for that? Did they drop it because everybody already knows that Quink has Solv-X in it, or did they remove the name simply because it is not used in the ink anymore?

The short winded answer is no, currently manufactured Quink no longer has Solv-X in it. That component got dropped long ago.

That's rather unfortunate. I find it almost offensive that they discontinued the one ingredient that made Quink better than many of the other inks on the market.

Except Quink made in India. I have a current bottle of Quink from India that says it has Solv-X

I have vintage Quink with Solvex. I use it exclusively in vintage Parker pens.
