Well, it sort of makes sense: they are relatively affordable, small, cheap and sturdy, which makes them attractive as EDC. So, one may have warmer feelings for other, more expensive brands, and these may be better quality and offer many more advantages, but down to the bottom line, Kaweco has carved for itself a useful and popular niche.

If you are to be ephemeral, leave a good scent.

Hahaha! They're fine! Most of them are resting comfortably in the Pen Valise.

I have eight Nakayas, kuro-tamenuri Piccolo Cigar in the "The One" position. It has a Pilot #15 PO nib and is the only Nakaya "on duty."

I have five Kaweco fountain pens (and two ballpoints), two of which are inked (AL Sport and Supra).

Yesterday, I put a #6 steel Jowo EF PO nib (from fpnibs.com) in the Supra, so maybe Supras have Jowo nibs. (?!) (Unless I'd put that Jowo nib into a Bock housing in the Danitrio Fellowship... I'm so confused now.)

The other three pens "on duty" are Pilots (including the Moonman C2 which isn't a Pilot but has a Pilot #10 PO nib in it).

Here's a photo I'd uploaded in another thread:

I've carried several Nakayas as EDC, hahaha, but lately just one, and I don't really want to carry six pens around, which usually meant not having six pens inked, but I'm learning that I can just leave the inked pens at home when I go out. Hahaha. I know.

So I carry the Nakaya Piccolo Cigar. And a retractable gel pen.

If I carry more than one fountain pen, then usually I'd add the Moonman. Now, though, I'm taking the Supra, in part because it's new, but also because I really enjoy using it.
