I don't think so - Damson looks more purple (if anything, Voorhout Violet looks like Damson). Maybe Eclipse? I had samples of both, but sold them and don't have any swabs.

Not an ink with the "wow" factor.

If I'm not wrong about that purple I (imagine?) see in the example, that's pretty much Diamine Eclipse. Only when that ink is spread thinly over a wider surface is its dark purple-black nature more obvious. When concentrated it appears totally black.
