How To Avoid Bubbles When Filling An Eco

Not a big problem but after a few fills and empties the ink is still a bit frothy rather than having one big air bubble: any advice?

Is it the same ink? I sometimes see bubbles when filling, but they all pop and I end up with just liquid ink in the barrel. Maybe you have excess soap or a frothy ink?

Assuming you use a piston filler or converter: The reason might be that you can get quite a lot of air bubbles into your pen when you fill it.

It is recommended to stick your pen into ink, draw up ink until your piston or converter is full, then push all ink out again. This should get you rid of most air stuck inside your pen, because the bubbles will be forced to leave your pen and of course become a part of the air that sorrounds you.

Then draw up ink again. Now you should have almost only ink in your pen. The more often you do so, the less air will be in your pen. But usually doing it once should be fine.

Some inks seem to bubble like that. It's not really a problem, it's just what happens to some inks.
