Congrats on your Drona. Another potential; issue is that this PLP model uses the U type hook clip, not a washer clip. It is interesting to note that Dr Sreekumar does not use the Kim signature Flat washboard clips for his jumbo creations.

Thanks! To my eyes, the PLP clip is like an adult wearing a child's clip on tie. Optics aside, the pen itself is very nice to use. Mr. Prasad Pascal Dsilva (Palucavi pens) is bringing back the KIM signature clips in his "Mambo-Jumbo" model. I believe he will make these clips available to Dr. Sreekumar at some later point in time (don't quote me on this), so the later Krishna Jumbos may be equipped with the older clips.

My KW Mammoth nib and feed are happily married to a custom pocket sized Woodex 63 in ED mode.

Yes, I am aware of your mod (very nicely done). I am waiting for KW to start selling their units separately, then I will get a couple and request PLP to make one that is threaded and one that is friction fit. PLP has made Jumbos with sections that accommodate the Junlai 930 nib units, so they said this should not be a problem. I am thinking of a flattop design for the pen, much like their Drona.

I think availability might not be the reason. These clips should be sourced relatively easily.

I see, I thought such clips are not readily available. I suppose he liked the design.
