This was tricky first topic... At least in my opinion.

But here we go! As Visvamitra pointed out, lots of reds...

Nice one. I believe Levenger has stopped making this ink. I'm glad to have grabbed a bottle before it becomes unavailable.

I love this one also. It looks redder and less brownish than Levenger Pomegranate (not showing on this particular photo). I think I like this more.

Alas, my scanner under-represents reds. I took some pictures on my phone, but I can't get them onto my computer (yet).

I used to have a scanner that only had one version of blue. Everything from Sky Blue to deep Navy Blue came out as the same mid-range Blue.

It would say to me "Blue? You've got blue. What, you want hues with that?"

I know. Bums me out. I have less than half a bottle left. Haven't been able to locate a second.

Here's mine: MB Leo Tolstoy LE. It was a lucky find at Fountain Pen Hospital last week (there was still one or two bottles still there as of December 30th, in case someone else wants to try their luck... B)).

ETA: The scans show it a little more blue and a little less teal then the ink actually is, but it's still definitely blue.

 -- Yes he does. He made grumpy noises as we were leaving his mom's for the roughly 4 hour trip to Manhattan about did I *really* need to go to FPH. And I said: "After making a special trip out to Sturbridge and back, in traffic jams both directions to pick up the Christmas gifts for your family which YOU waited till the last minute to order -- and THEN went out the *next* morning to get your mother something the physical therapist said she needed to be using (and after all that she didn't WANT to use it until you told her that she was SUPPOSED to)? Oh Hell yeah I'm going to FPH...." And when I got back to his sister's apartment, I showed him the stuff I got. I mostly don't hide pen/ink purchases from him. Mostly....

Trying to decide if I'm going to refill the pen or flush it, though -- the problem with that nib is that it goes through a lot of ink, and I don't have a good feel for when it gets low. Which seemed to be a fair amount over the past week.... Plus, I have a lot of pens inked up at the moment. And 51 weeks worth of ink projects left....

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

LOVE IT.

Intriguing to see that your mix of disappointments looks very similar to my concoction of failed mixes. :)

Perhaps this is the way forward ?!

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
