Sailor Kop - M And B Nib Size Difference

Dear all,

I'm a bit confused on the size of the nibs in Sailor KOP. I've read somewhere, that they run like a typical Japanese nib (a size smaller than western sizes), and that they are actually pretty close to the western nib sizes someplace else. I have found a really nice review here:

In the comments section there's information, that the reviewed pen was a M nib version, whereas the video:

would suggest, that the nib is in fact a B (judging by marking on the side).

Not sure if the info applies to the KOP line, but nibs.com suggests, that the difference between Sailor's M and B is not that big anyway:

Could someone please clarify this for me?

I asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago and got a really useful reference (for me at least). Have a look here.

I've not got a medium or broad King of Pen nib (yet) that will allow me to add to this. I can see that the pen in the video link you refer to is definitely a broad. The back edge of the left wing of the nib is the typical Sailor position on the nib for the tipping size mark.
