Where Do You Buy Lead To Your Vintage Mechanical Pencils?

The thread title says it all. I have a vintage Parker 51 mechanical pencil.

I have found http://www.legendaryleadcompany.com and they would be a perfect fit, but their online system does not permit purchasing when shipment would be outside USA. Plus they have not replied to my online form contact, nor to my direct email. Are they even operational anymore?

Any other places?

Yard o Led used to make some of the more obscure sizes. You might check your side for options. Also JetPens.com this side. I can't remember if they ship internationally.

You can often find the older sizes at flea markets or ebay, and usually for a reasonable price as well.

Parker 51 aero pencils are just .9. I use Autopoint HB leads. I think all of mine are from JetPens, but .9 shouldn't be that hard to find.

On this side of the "Pond", Cult pens has quite good selection. Even some 1.18 mm leads from Worther and Kaweco, both in HB hardness.

The Writing desk has Yard-o-Led 1.18 mm in B, H and HB. Same goes for La couronne du comte.

However, if Parker 51 takes 0.9 mm leads like NinthSphere and some other sources says, then your nearest office supplies shop should have something like Faber-Castell and Pentel leads.

You do not have a right to post. You do not have a right to a lawyer. Do you understands these rights you do not have?

Kaweco Supra (titanium B), Al-Sport (steel BB).

Parker: Sonnet (dimonite); Frontier GT; 51 (gray); Vacumatic (amber).

Pelikan: m600 (BB); Rotring ArtPen (1,9mm); Rotring Rive; Cult Pens Mini (the original silver version), Waterman Carene (ultramarine F)

Oops I don't know why I wrote P51 when it is actually a "vacumatic pencil", the lead is 0.046" or about 1.1mm, sorry.
