Hello everyone,

Do you have any information on a possible source of small pen parts like, barrel rings, cap jewels etc?

Parker or others?

Depends on what pens you are looking parts for. For example, since you mentioned Parker, you could search Pentooling.com.

Then there's ebay. There is Dutchpen here in the classifieds. And then you have to search with google and online search engines. There's no one-stop supermart for pen parts.

Find a donor pen to scavenge the parts off.

It is best to specify exact parts you are looking for but I can guess it is the same parts all the rest of us look for.

51 cap jewels and blind cap tassies.

Vacumatic striped jewels, striped sections, and most sizes of blind cap tassie.

Duofold clips

Waterman emblems and color bands.

RHR feeds and Lucky Curve feeds that are not broken.

Sheaffer presser bar assemblies.

Gold filled Waterman lever boxes.

Parker cap clutches.

Esterbrook sections and J-bars with the stop.

Skyline derbies that don't fall out

Good lockdown vac fillers.

Grey PFM nib assemblies

Good Conklin clips

and 51 SE barrels that haven't cracked

Would be the ones that come to mind at the moment.

San Francisco International Pen Show - The next “Funnest Pen Show” is on schedule for August 23-24-25, 2024.  Watch the show website for registration details.

My PM box is usually full. Just email me: my last name at the google mail address.

Yeah, that looks a lot like my lists that I bring to every pen show. Flea markets aren't just for pens, but even salvage operations. Estate sales, you name it. The only addition I would have, for Esterbrooks specifically, would be transitional J clips with the toaster top, and cap jewels in general. You reach a point where you look at a damaged pen as a source of parts. It only took me a year or so to fill a few boxes with salvage materials.

You got me on the Esterbrook jewels. I should have included them in the list but ...

I'd tell you about that 5 gallon bucket of jewels that showed up at the SF Show if it would get you to show up next year but it would just start rumors that I have extras again.

It was cheaper for me to fend for myself. I still have just over 100 of the 500 I had made. I do have to make it out there one of these days, though. B)

. . . P51 barrels and hoods so you can do away with the personalized barrel on the pen you just bought. If you want to change color, the hood will be needed. I found several barrels and hoods from Ariel Kullock.

Yep! I found a couple sets online. I think some of the seconds goes really cheap. I think I've posted pics of both my orange and the dark gray Kullock 51s I've done. Penpartsstore is the seller on eBay.
