Faber - Castell Ondoro

I just wanted to bring this back to the top. I bought a Graphite gray Ondoro with a B nib two weeks ago I am really enjoying using it. The looks are a bit strange to me and the chrome cap sure collects fingerprints, but the pen is very comfortable to write with and the nib performance is great. Overall I love this pen and would buy it again.

I love my Ondoros - I have the orange one and the wooden version. The pen reminds me of the kind of 1950s / 1960s pens used by the graphic designer who worked on my father's newspaper back when I was a child - a very retro vibe, and the bright orange particularly. (It's also one of the classic colours of the Volkswagen Combi camping car.)

Like others, I'm slightly annoyed by the cap not being metal.... I wonder how much a sterling cap retrofit would cost? :-)

Too many pens, too little time!

Right it's a metal cap with a plastic/spring liner. It works fine for me but I'm constantly wiping the fingerprints off it.
