S T Dupont Pen Info

Hi,

I'm not a big fountain pen enthusiast however I have recently found myself in possession of an S T Dupont pair of fountain pens complete with all the trimmings. I was informed that they are a his and hers set and the date in one of the manuals is December 1990. Does anyone know much about this pen set and it's history? Also, if anyone knows what the value of these could be that would be good to know.

Attached are some photos of the set.

Cheers!

Those are Classique model pens and likely use the Parker/Aurora standard cartridges and converters. They could be Sterling silver or silver plate (likely the latter) so look to see if stamped 925. Originally there was a lighter where the cartridges are now and from the shape it was probably a Ligne2 lighter.

Thanks jar, looking closer it appears to have the markings 750 with 18ct nib. It's good to know there was originally a lighter in the set but I have no idea where that will have gotten to. Would this still be a classique model?
