Of all the kyo no oto inks, this is the only one I care for, although I found it to be a bit hard to clean out of my pens.

One of the 5 Kyonooto inks. I shall leave the presentation of these inks to someone else

~ Lgsoltek:

Yesterday afternoon I visited a well-stocked local fountain pen, paper and ink store.

I'd never seen or heard about Kyo-no-oto inks before.

What I saw there was striking.

Thank you for the comparison image above. It's exactly what I hoped to find.

Talk about lighting up an old thread... And I'm glad you did. I picked up a bottle of this on impulse when i saw it on sale. I really like it and use it regularly. it seems to have a slight greenish look on occasion and i doubt I'll buy it again. I think shin kai will be my next blue/black.

I can't believe it's been 3.5 years since I did this review.

The quality of your work has withstood the test of time.

The image you prepared and posted of the Kyo-no-oto inks is one of the finest ink comparison images I've seen.

Within one month I'll return to a store which offers many of these inks. If I bring a few home, it will be as a result of reading your review and admiring the comparison photograph.

Thank you, again.
