Fountain Pens in Savannah, Georgia

Ashland

Recommended Posts

I recently had the pleasure of traipsing around the oldest part of Savannah, Georgia, in search of fountain pens. I managed to find six dealers.

The Attic Antiques

224 West Bay Street

Savannah, Georgia 31401

Telephone: (912) 236-4879

If you want a vintage fountain pen, Kerry Peeler has the best selection I was able to find. There were at least two dozen pens including a red Esterbrook with a 9668 nib & a green one with a 3xxx stub nib. I also believe I saw a Parker Parkette.

Cobblestone Lane Antiques Mall

230 West Bay Street

Savannah, Georgia 31401

Telephone: (912) 447-0504

This shop is next door to The Attic Antiques. Upstairs in display case 17, one can find a Parker Parkette and two Wearever models (one red & one blue).

Ex Libris

In the art supply section upstairs, I found some Sheaffer Viewpoint and Staedtler fountain pens.

There was one Montblanc Mozart fountain pen. They had several different types of ballpoint pens.

La Paperie

409 Whitaker Street

Savannah, Georgia 31401

Telephone: (912) 443-9349

lapaperie@bellsouth.net

La Paperie is a gorgeous stationery store that has a nice selection of Lamy, Tacchia, & Retro 51 pens. Of course, there were more ballpoint pens than fountain pens. For those who love writing and all the paraphernalia associated with it, this is the store to visit.

Primary Art Supplies

14. E. Broughton St.

Savannah, Georgia 31401

Telephone: (912) 233-7624

Dip pens and nibs, Sheaffer Viewpoint, and Pilot Varsity fountain pens can be found in abundance at this art supply store.

Please let me know if there are any other shops in Savannah which carry fountain pens.

Regards,

Ashland

That's ok, Glenn-SC. You missed the one destined for me, a gorgeous Majestic.

2015 Does anyone know if any fountain pen shops have survived in Savannah?

I'd like to know also.

Franklin-Christoph, Italix, and Pilot pens are the best!
Iroshizuku, Diamine, and Waterman inks are my favorites!

Apica, Rhodia, and Clairefontaine make great paper!
