Wing Sung 659's Converter Use In Pilot/namiki Pens

There has been a discussion of the size of the converter sold with the Pilot clone, Wing Sung 659. I have found it's mouth to be a perfect fit on my Namiki Stella. Because the Stella is a small pen and the converter perhaps a bit longer than the garden variety, the Stella's barrel could not be attached to the section. However, I did write with the Stella's section to which the Wing Sung converter was attached. There were no leaks and the pen worked as well as it had with the Namiki cartridge. I must then conclude that the Wing Sung 659 would readily accept the Pilot/Namiki cartridge.

I read a posting that suggested the cartridge piercing prong in the Wing Sung 659 was not quite identical to that found in the Pilot 78G. And so, I decided to insert a pilot cartridge in the 659. Indeed, the cartridge, while being a perfect otherwise, was not pierced! I then inserted a previously used Pilot cartridge that I had refilled by using a syringe; it worked perfectly.
