My latest pen, a Karas Kustoms Fountain K in copper...seen here with my EDC pocket pen the Kaweco Brass Sport.

Talk about heavy metal! The Copper weighs in at around 93.5 grms, while the svelt Kaweco is a mere 43 grms. Both great for the pocket and the bag. The background is a wonderful Chic Sparrow Creme Classic, which arrived at the same time as the Karas Kustom pen. Very, very happy to be using both of them today. :)

 

I know it's so predictable, but yes, I inked the Copper pen with...Diamine Ancient Copper. Natch. :D

I just stare in awe at all the comments. Not because there are so many, but because at all the beautiful and nice pens you have. (Me being a kid means no MB's here!) I guarantee you I dont have a single vintage pen (Ok, maybe my cross classic century II from Ireland might be a little old, but not vintage.)

 

Today, I Use a Platinum 3376# Century Chartres Blue w/ Rhodium trim and Black Parker Quink.

The pen in rotation is Waterman Kultur ( fine nib) and it is inked with Diamine Majestic Blue. The pen is absolute wet writer and the ink has a beautiful stunning golden sheen. I love this ink.



The thought inspiration for today comes from Ambrose Bierce, an Amercian writer and critic. And theme for the thought is anger.

The pen is a absolute lovely wet writer but has problem with hard starts. ( whether its ink or pen I have to determine that) And I wonder why it is not listed on Waterman webpage and I got this pen via my friend whose girl was travelling to France. It is easily available in France in many stationary stores.

The ink is just plain gorgeous, love the flow, the lubrication, the colour and top of that all, the massive sheen.

I've just been to my Diamine stash, and discovered that I am out of Majestic Blue...but not for long. :D

Thank you again...

I have heard lot of rumours that the ink dries up quickly and clogs.. have u faced any kind of issue...

I have issue with Hard starts and i saw some ink clogging in tines...

      Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

      It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

      Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

      Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
