Oh drat - the images are fuzzy. do you want me to scan them?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I am very sorry, I do not have a very good camera or scanner. I will try to take some better shots tomorrow.

Konrad said he had made a mistake in my IG Mandarin sample. I think it might actually be IG Orange.

 

This would explain why my IG Mandarin sample differs from the bottle I recently purchased.

I'd be really interesting to hear the results. I have a bottle of IG Mandarin, and -- theoretically -- be getting a bottle of IG Orange -- if the guy who set up the group buy for our local club ever shows up to another meeting... (I haven't paid for that or the other three inks I ordered, yet, but I'm sure he'd rather get them off his hands :huh:).

      @Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film.       Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
