I have LB5 Tairiku (continent) in Amethyst Mauve and Marble White.

A spell of beautiful pens by Classic pens has been cast on me like you.

rokurinpapa, conicidence, I have the exact two colours as well. I still want the Diamond Brown one. But 3 LB5s? Cannot justify the cost.

We all work our pen deals in ways which suit us best. As a retired school teacher, I don't have a great deal of discretionary dough. However, having been using fountain pens since early elementary school & actively collecting for about 35 years, I have a fair stash. Was able to trade several pens each for two of my LB5s. Both were new pens, but the sellers were sufficiently interested in my vintage pens that the deals worked without worry on either part. I purchased my third one from Andy Lambrou at a pen show, after which my wife & I enjoyed rice & beans for the next couple of lean months. Good luck in acquiring your third if you really NEED one.

Hi Barry, thanks....hopefully my last post was not implying that I was reprimanding anyone for having multiple LB5s...on the contrary. For me at the time, it seemed too much to have a 3rd one...was jealous of the people who have the set or multiple colours though. Through some selling of some other pens and "stuff," I was able to work with Dennis at La Couronne du Comte and acquire the Kouseki (Diamond Brown) colour.

Yeah, I suck...don't NEED the third one, but WANT it. Apparently Andy is making the last of the lot and won't be ready until August.

I am happy to know you are the same comrade. I would like to have another LB5, Tensui (raindrops)

in Space Blue with rhodium plate trim http://classicpensinc.com/LB/LB5Tensui03.jpg . Maybe I am

blinded by love of gain of CP pens.

OMD! I LOVE your red pen! Red is my favorite color, and the more "in your face" red it is, the more I like it. I'm guessing that, being a limited edition, it's way beyond my budget, if there are even any left to purchase, but it has been a real pleasure drooling over yours :-).

The red's seem to be sold out but they are spendy. I think there are a few whites still for sale around the internet.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
