What cleaver phrasing, Wally!

TBH, I did shamelessly steal borrow it from someone who was famed for his oratorical prowess ;)

My cordovan 51 arrived. Inked it up with some Aurora black and it writes a beautiful fine line. Condition seems pretty good. $62.

Was that the "restored" price?  I'd say you did pretty well.

3 days ago of fleabay bought a TWSBI vac 700 with complete with broad and 1.1 stub nib, destructions tool and O rings. Always love the stub, it actually writes more like an old fashioned italic nib🙂 my main reason for purchase. With the old 700 you have to unscrew the knob and pull the rod up a quarter inch to get a proper flow and only screw it down when you have finished writing, cause it seals so tight. Which is why it's so good on planes. Unlike the 700r. I see so many complaints of no ink flow with the 700 and I think it maybe driver error. Both nibs are buttery smooth and the broad is a great medium fine, with the nib upsidedown 🙂. If you're prepared to risk the dreaded 'barrel crack' they are still a good pen. In comparison bought a TWSBI Eco online, which feels like it will fall apart if I touch it😂. The vac is a clear demonstrator; sadly severe disability prevents me taking pics.

Well folks, blessings all from an old fool🙂.

"Remember buying pens like buying kites, (I have a lot of both), only becomes a problem if you stop"!😂😂 Johnny.

Aaugh, I did it! I ordered what should be a Pluminix in red from amazon France. Certainly paid up with the shipping. I knew of Pluminix for awhile, but never cared enough to check it out. Pity. I do hope the one I ordered is the Pluminix as the other pens it was shown with are Plumix pens. In the photo it has Pluminix on it. I also impulsively ordered a black barrel with red cap Kakuno because I read the black body ones are being discontinued. I don’t know why I did it. I have Kakunos. Red was my Dad’s favorite color, and my Mom liked blue. I have more blue pens than red, so that’s why. Yeah, uh huh, I’m sticking with that.

No mention of restoration in the listing, although it's glossy and the sac seems fine. If it hasn't been restored, it appears to have been only lightly used. Would the original sac hold up 70 years? I know it's not rare but I love the color.

Two of the blue ones in this collection:

Essentially, the Profuture Lab FP0029 (or is it FP009?) in a colourway not available in the Profuture Lab ‘Forest’ series.

I just agreed to buy an Omas Paragon in new, uninked condition, blue Royale celluloid from the ‘90s. I never thought I’d own an Omas due to their being so sought after, but …right place, right time. The first thing I did is ink it up with some Montblanc ink I had at my desk.

The shorter cap on your new pen strongly suggests it's a Penmanship and not a Plumix. If I recall correctly, there are also slight differences in the grip sections of the Penmanship and the Plumix.

Excellent call!  Penmanship it is.  And it appears that they only come with an EF nib, and that would also explain the mystery of why one of the Plumix nibs isn't stubby.  It isn't a Plumix.

A red Moleskine x Kaweco with a fine nib. (Those are actually a Perkeo with gold-coloured metal bits.)

- It completes my collection of those.

- 50% off Moleskine sale at Milligram.

- Couldn't resist...

Will work for pens...
