So today, two green pens followed me home from Pen Club. The first is a very flexible “Pinnacle” pen, which I think had something to do with Lang?  It’s a celluloid lever filler with a very Art Deco style clip.  The second is a green Parker Vacumatic, on the smaller side, no blue diamond and three rings on the cap, double jeweled.

Does the pen take short international cartridges?

@Misfit, it does take short international cartridges. This is the one that I bought:

Doubting I could shop for it locally, I joined with @Penguincollector and @inkstainedruth to be pen triplets with the Peter Pauper Falling Blossoms fountain pen. The best deal I found was on eBay. Too bad Cherry Blossom season is over.

Our cherry trees are still blooming, so you’re just celebrating with us! Yay pen triplets!

@Penguincollector cool to know about your Oregon cherry blossoms. My pen is ordered in honor of celebrating them. Nearby me are redbud blossoms.

I got to thinking about a bookmark that I bought, and lo, it’s Falling Blossoms!

The remainder of the four colourways of the HongDian N23 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ fountain pens, now that the HongDian official store on AliExpress is offering them as cheaply as I've seen them.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

It didn’t come with cartridges or a converter, but I had a Waterman converter. I never write with European medium nibs, so it feels like an ink faucet! But it’s very smooth and consistent. I’m kind of in love! This writing sample is with Diamine Majestic Blue. I’m going to call it a Hemisphere; I always wanted to get one because of the Stephen King connection, and I’d never gotten around to it.

Hi PTD    Congratulation on the pen. 😀  What paper were you writing on?

Argh, I really have no self control. I just ordered the last available Leonardo MZG LeonArco Abalone Celluloid from the batch shipping April 30. Figured I should get it while the tariff is ‘only’ 10%. I really need to stop looking at their website… 🫠

It’s a great shop. Family owned, the woman who runs it now is either the second or third generation. Her dad was a fountain pen enthusiast, and she’s kept some of his collection on display. They do mail order!

It’s what I’ve used as my everyday notebooks for a pretty long time: Leuchtturm A4 dotted. It’s kind of expensive, but I really like it. It feels good and is very durable.

No new acquisitions despite the tempting by Conway Stewart with their new offering, a VE-Day commemorative.

Saving my resources and impulsivity for my favorite flea market which is opening soon... weather permitting.

A grey day is really a silver one that needs Your polish!
