Dark Purple Ink: Any Favorites Which Are Fairly Water Resistant?

One deep dark purple that I personally enjoy writing with is Sailor Jentle Ink Shigure. My second favorite is Sailor Bung Box Imperial Purple. I currently have both inked up in my daily writers so yeah, I really enjoy these purple inks.

Those who hurt me were not only someone else,

but also those who pretended not to notice. It was my friend.

I see you've gotten a lot of ideas, but I wanted to add my recommendation.

Noodler's La Reine Mauve is awesome for what you want. Pen hygiene matters with this ink, but I haven't found it to be burdensome at all.

I use Rohrer and Klinger Scabiosa on a daily basis. Whether it is dark purple or not depends on the paper; on HP laser printer paper, I would say that it is.

As for flow, I discovered Scabiosa after having flow problems with Diamine purple inks in several pens. Scabiosa has not given me any flow problems, cleans easily, and being an iron gall, it should survive a splash.

+1 for R&K Scabiosa - great flow, and because it is an Iron Gall, it will be as waterproof as you can get.

I find it is a dusky purple on most fp friendly paper, but when I use it on HP Premium 32lb Laser Paper (bright white), it is definitely darker.

Hooray! Someone else. I thought I was crazy for not having any issues with LRM.

I would suggest R&K "Scabiosa" for a water resistant purple ink. The surface finish & absorbency of the paper that you use can greatly affect how "dark" this ink is going to be. The darkest purple I get (with the least amount of shading) is from a relatively inexpensive Stables sugar cane paper.

So I started using my bottle of KWZI IG Gummiberry...And this is definitely an ink you should consider. Nice and dark with shading, and waterpoof due to it being an iron Gall Ink. In a wet nib, this ink appear incredibly dark as well.
