Diamine Marine Handwritten Review

I previously tried Diamine Marine in a F nib pen and wasn't a fan. Simply stepping up to an M nib made a world of difference. It's much more saturated and gives some nice shading. Maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10 on the shading front. On Moleskine paper, I was getting consistently present feathering and dark show-through. Long dry time; I was on the fourth-to-last line before the ink in "splurge" was no longer visibly wet. In my book, an excellent color of ink, if not as well-behaved as I'd like. What had been a pale, icy ink in an F nib develops a much more interesting personality in a wider nib.

I would describe it as a 'calm' color as depicted on my monitor.

Thanks for the review. I don't need another "highlighter" ink.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.
