Pelikano Jr. (A) nib

I now own 2 Pelikano Jrs. The old one had a broken cap, so I bought another one. They both seem to write like Medium, but the nibs say *A*. I got them from an art store and they don't know what they're selling.

If these are mediums, I am hoping to get a fine one from an online store. I love how these write and they're inexpensive.

P51 demi, P51 full size, P reflex, Pilot VP blk carbon, M200 gray, M200 blk, 2 Pelikanos, 3 Lam Safaris, 1 Lam Studio SS.

I have a Pelikano Jr and love it, I got a regular Pelikano and wanted to try a fine nib. It is marked "F" instead of "A", but it writes and looks identical to the medium or "A" marked nib. Both write a nice, smooth, medium line that is wet but not too wet. They are the same design, but there certainly was no difference in how they write. I do like the fact that you can see the whole long cartridge in the regular Pelikano, it is not as fat though.

I belive that nibs marked"A" are supposed to be "starter" ball shaped nibs for kids that can be held at a wider range of writing angles and still put down a line.

Thanks. I might try a regular Pelikano next time, though the store does not carry it. I might have to go online for that.

Good writers either way.

Hi everyone,

Today I bought a blue Pelikano Junior. I love it. happycloud9.gif The pen writes smooth and seems to be solid manufactured. How much does the Pelikano Junior cost in the USA?

According to Pelikan, the "A" nib is considered to be in between a fine and a medium in width.

In the U.S., the Pelikano Jr. is around $10.45 USD.

So here's what happened
While you were nappin'
I just went out for a snack
I was feelin' famished
And then I vanished...
But now I'm back
