Twsbi 580Al Orange And Apache Sunset

I can't believe no one has posted this yet, but I couldn't find any, so here are a couple pictures of my newest pen, TWSBI 580al Orange with a medium nib

 

it writes just like my other 580s, although I don't believe I'd tried apache sunset in one before. lots of shading!

 

I love the feel of the aluminum section.

I have the regular Al. Fantastic pen, one of my favorites. I just can't believe the quality you get for the cost. One of the best deals in fountain pens today, no question!

I have the orange and love it. The nib on it feels more responsive than my other 580s, more like the old Bocks. But I am not in love with that pretty orange grip. Makes me feel like my hand is slipping down as I write. I had to scuff it up with sandpaper to give it some texture and grip. It's a great pen, nonetheless. I agree that TWSBI is the berries, and for the price, I am now the owner of a few too many. Love them.

I agree....the orange one is very nice looking. Makes one want to collect the series.

 

I know this is an old post/thread but I thought I'd update you guys show your wish was granted. You probably already know or may even have one but here's the TWSBI Diamond 580AL Blue....appropriately laid out on Clairefontaine's orange notebook. Loaded with Private Reserve's DC Super Violet ink.
