Oh My! I LOVE that pen. If you mail it out to me so I can give it a try, I will mail it back to you in 10 years. (I really will...)

I see your photos all the time in my Flickr feed as I follow you there. I always look forward to another one of your gorgeous photos. Your photos are my standard which I consistently fail to reach, but always hope to achieve. Keep them coming.

Thank you so much, Andrew! It really means a lot!!!

I'm sorry to be such a machine-gun-jenny-poster today. You see, I've spent a lot of my life today on this thread and I had to get all of the impressions out of my system ;-)

Inspired by TeaHive and SNAK, I've made a frankenpen out of one of my two new TWSBIs. I've fitted the Orange 580 AL with a waterman's gold nib with some flex. And for those wondering; there has been no colour match thinking on this inkup.

I like your Scandinavian saying. A lot of those sayings cross language and culture barriers and transcend time too.

As for your Franken TWSBI, it's gorgeous! And your Waterman's nib looks like it fits really well. Aren't these TWSBI pens so much fun? :P I have a new one too so I will have to show you soon.

Here are my current everyday pens.

Visconti Van Gogh with fine nib and loaded with Diamine Passion Red

Kaweco Brass Sport with 14k gold fine nib and loaded with Diamine Graphite

Lamy Joy with 1.9mm nib and inked with J Herbin Lie de Thé - I make time to use this nib everyday. It is a real joy :-)

Your pens are beautiful. You using 1.9mm nib = RESPECT. I can't even handle a 1.5mm nib. Your Visconti is so yummy looking, and I can almost smell the Kaweco Brass Sport. MMMmmmm. I sniff my brass Lilliput all the time. :D

I don't recognise the pen. But that doesn't mean anything as I am such a noob.

Are there any written clues on the pen itself? Is there anything on the metal cap lip, or noton the top of the cap?

SNAK,

You Montblanc is amazing!

And you custom blue is beautiful!

regards!

Thanks carretera, much appreciated. The blue ink mix is my "I don't want to dump it so mix it up and use it up" mix. Sometimes I add a couple of drops of surfactant into the 50ml bottle after I add a lot of fresh ink to the mix, so the ink is always really smooth and wet.

There is nothing what so ever on the pen to give a clue. It is probably just a cheap nameless pen :)

Ooooo, the green TWSBI is a gorgeous color! Kind of teal-green! And nice color pairings with the ink and book cover. ;)

That ink, plus that nib, plus your magic that you do might be the most appealing combo I have yet seen, here. I must have a bottle of Sailor 4B. Please tell me that it is not DCed.

Did you get it on your fingers or elbow? Thats usually what happens to me with slow drying ink.

Love that pen!

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
