Platinum 3776 Century Shoji with a broad nib stubbed by John Mottishaw and a maki-e converter with a tadpole motif on it. Loaded with Noodler's Ottoman Azure. Fun to write with, and I have my own portable pocket aquarium now.

Inked up the blue Platinum Plaisir with Noodler's Baystate Blue. Wow. Nifty.

The Parker Sonnet is getting along nicely with Diamine Sapphire Blue. This pen and ink combination is working well as something I can live with.

Congrats on the pretty little Bird! Toffee Brown suits it perfectly. Great photos, as usual!

I use my "new" Eversharp Skyline, inked with Diamine Majestic Purple:

Thanks! Skyline is gorgeous, light, hand-friendly - and super smooth, with a bit of flex. I'm a Streamline design fan, so for me this pen was a must. But it will please anyone, especially you ;)

Today I used the Sheaffer Taranis with the stock black cartridge and I finished the Noodler's Navajo Turquoise in the Jinhao X750.

Sheaffer Touchdown Sentinel Deluxe (F?) with Pelikan 4001 brilliant black - this was the first pen that I repaired, a little while ago, and it is a joy to use.

Pelikan M800 Tortoise Brown (EF) with Diamine rustic brown.

Pilot Vanishing Point Carbonesque Blue (SU) with Diamine marine.

We express a similar concept in Alabama in the USA:

Q: "What are the famous last words of a Good Ol' Boy?"

A: "Hey, Fellers – watch this!"

I especially like the pen and ink combination there. Would go awesome with a dark blue pinstripe suit and dark brown shoes.

I happen to be using a blue Lamy Safari with a 1.1 mm nib loaded with Diamine Autumn Oak leftover in an empty ink bottle I ordered from Goulet Pens. Total bonus on Fountain Pen Day for me.

The Autumn Oak is a lot lighter than the Toffee Brown, by the way.

The past few days I've been in a workshop and gave my Conklin Duragraph a real workout, on all kinds of paper. Diamine Indigo and Teal inks.

For people who diss this pen, may your nib catch on a staple as it performed beautifully, smooth.

I did flash the 1920s red ripple to no particular interest by anyone.

I was not the only one using an FP.
