Nice pen.

Not quite a classic Deluxe although it uses the same classic nib. However, Pilot calls it a Deluxe.

Pilot has made a number of models recently in this mold.

Thier Spirits of Edo series of at least three models come to mind.

Note the stylized sword clip.

I have one of the Spirits of Edo models and it's a super pen. i use it regularly.

Am tempted to buy this pen. Looks like a beauty.

The pen and nib does look equivalent to my Pilot Deluxe Seigaiha pattern - one of my favourite pens. I'd love if this pattern came in a dark blue!

FWIW, the model comes in Sakura, cherry blossoms, as well. I like the maple leaves better.

Wow, those are beautiful. If they came in a darker base, like a maroon, I'd definitely get one. Would you mind explaining to me how they are different from the Deluxe model? This is the one I have :

It looks like the same nib and body to me, but I'd love to hear your insights :)

They are the same. Just different color lacquer different color section (white) and gold trim.

Your pen comes in a series of three called Edo Spirits. I have one different from yours.

I love it. Great writer.

I anticipate Pilot will use this platform for additional models in the near future.

Your design is lovely as well! I agree - these are excellent writers, mine is one of 2 Pilots I use every day. I was very pleasantly surprised at the way it writes, I did not expect it.

Edit: Alright, I need some help! Stan, may I know who sells the sakura version of this Pilot Lady? I bought my partner the same Seigaiha pattern I have, but she wants this one instead, and I'm hoping to trade the Seigaiha for it or perhaps sell the Seigaiha and get this one. Eesh!!!

Go here on Rakuten for what may be your best price..

I have not idea if they will ship to America.

You may also try copy/paste this: パイロット レディホワイト モミジ

Means Pilot Lady White Maple.

You should find several places in Japan.

Good luck.

Thank you so much, I managed to find one a little cheaper using that search term you provided.

Will purchase after I sell off the Seigaiha :) Lesson learned : always check before buying a pen for someone!

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
