And suddenly the goods are in Frakfurt, Germany....

It's getting closer.....

Well I hope you have better luck than me. Yodel said they'd left the parcel on the doorstep at a time when I was home, but it wasn't on my doorstep .... :(((

I chose my user name years ago - I have no links to BBS pens (other than owning one!)

I've bought two fountain pens (one of which is a Lamy 2k), ink, and a leather field notes binder from Massdrop. Fortunately all of the drops have been on time and delivered without problems. I agree that some prices are not great, but like anything else if you do your homework you will do OK.

Sorry to hear that.

I will get the parcel delivered to work. Probably the postman will bring it to my office, he usually do.

I buy from Massdrop at least once a month, and by and large have been very happy. Some of the pricing is okay while other prices are incredible (I believe I paid close to 50% off for my Pelkan 1000).

As someone said, do the homework....

Thank you for the insight. I've thought about doing Massdrop a few times but was turned off either by the relatively skimpy percent savings or the amount that I would have to buy (i don't want 3 bottles of the J Herbin 1670 ink, I want 1) or both.

Now if I can figure out how to stop their frequent emails. I don't see an "unsubscribe"

Now they have arrived!

One Black Crocodile Fine and one White Tiger Fine. The White Tiger is for my missus.

I think it was $470 for the Pel 1000. I also paid just over $200 for a Lamy Dialog 3. You do have to know what the going rate is for all of the products. I have paid 50 for something and then found that I could an every day price of $60. Still a savings, but I might not have sprung for it had I known.

I've had good experience with them. Bought pens, notebooks, keyboards etc. Their price is pretty good and worth the wait. I haven't had any delay happen to my past orders.

I just joined a recent drop for the Porsche Design P'3135 Solid Titanium & Gold Pens, a discontinued classic model, and the discount is huge. Hopefully more people will join and make it happen.

My experiences with MassDrop have all been good. The only pen I've purchased from them was the Stipula Passporto (original version) which I ordered because I could no longer find it online as it had been discontinued.

I usually use MassDrop to buy unique items which are unavailable elsewhere...like the items pictured below. For everyday, easily available pens and inks I go with brick and mortar...the usual suspects.

Seems like they take forever to get the stuff from NJ to Europe as well.....

I live one state away and the tracking number states that its estimated to arrive within a day or two...ends up a week passes by and then I receive my item. It really bothers me sometimes.

Those who hurt me were not only someone else,

but also those who pretended not to notice. It was my friend.
