Difference Between Mechanical Pencils?

I saw the Rotring pencils and I'm wondering what benefits they give over my Pentel 0.2 lead pencil, besides the weight. Because Rotrings are 0.5mm lead at the smallest.

I have a rotring tikky pencil. It's quite nice but I can't really compare to anything else because I haven't tried others.

I have a basic Waterman Hemisphere and it is absolutely superb. Compared to a Pentel, I'd say bonuses from these pens come from better weight and barrel balance. However, because I'm a cheapskate and this is my only pen or pencil made of real steel and has real gold trimmings, I've noticed it gets damaged and scratches easily compared to my knockoff pens. Depending on what Rotring you're looking at, the only thing that it could do worse is material durability.

I have a Pilot S20 that is a superb mechanical pencil with a nice organic feel to it. Unfortunately it doesn't get used nearly enough because I realised rather belatedly that what I really wanted was a 2mm lead holder (will get one eventually I guess).
