Yalumba - L'artisan Pastellier

Thank you for being so generous with your time to provide the comparison of Yalumba and Ancient Copper, and for your instructional comments. I find both inks to be beautiful as shown, and I see what you mean vis a vis saturation. I was unaware of LAP inks until I saw your posting with Yalumba, and I'm glad it caught my eye. Thanks again.

My pleasure! (Truly!) Visvamitra has been a strong proponent of L'Artisan Pastellier inks, and for me, their entire series of golds-tans-browns-oranges is delightful. Again, not highly saturated like Noodler's or Private Reserve, but really warm and subtle. Inti, Aurora, Itzamná, and Yalumba are among my favorite inks in that range.

And the peculiar wedge-shaped bottles form a nice circle on your desk! :)

Though I' m a new member here, I've been reading the FPN forums for awhile, and I marvel at the enthusiasm many long time members such as you and Visvamitra demonstrate for the seemingly endless number of inks and requests for comments and comparisons. Many members such as yourselves consistently show freshness, patience, objectivity, and care with each and every review and request on this site, when it would be easy to ignore, respond cynically or pedantically. I really appreciate and respect your contributions.

Mike
