Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Two years ago, FPNer Shawndo, purchased a lot of samples including every blue ink Goulet's had to offer.

Alas, Shawndo ran out of free inky time. I agreed to do these reviews. So here we are.

I really like this color! A bottle of this stuff has been on my wish list for awhile, but I haven't pulled the plug yet because I keep pushing it to the back in favor of something else...but I really do love this pink! One day I will get a bottle of it. Not really a practical color, but definitely a pretty color!

It had surface tension issues and I had trouble with it. I'm sending you the remainder of the sample for you to do a CRV.

You-Are-Awesome! Thank you!!!

I had a sample a while ago but used it up (that's one way I know if I really like an ink, I use up the entire sample...otherwise I just use it once and have the rest of the sample sitting there for later use). I don't recall any problems with it in the pens I used...but it was quite some time ago so I may not remember all the specifics of how it worked.

I look forward to trying this ink again! :D

This ink is one of my first few worth something ink. Its just reminds me, that I didn't use this one for a wile. Thanks, now I will use it again. Makes me curious how this will behave on an ivory paper....

Great review, thanks!

I bought a sample, then a bottle. It seems to really like my pink-capped Lamy Nexx with a Fine nib.

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I'm glad you like it. It wasn't my cuppa, but others love it.

BTW, Sailor, I love my UFOs.

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.

Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
