Hey everyone!

zchen, I had an unhealthy obsessison over the Pelikan M400 White Tortoise, and now a proud owner of one. The barrel and the nib is just gorgeous! For me, I dare say it writes better than any other pen I own.

Add me to the list of people obsessed with the Pelikan M400 White Tortoise (heck, all Pelikan tortoise pens, honestly). I might be able to buy it this week and am stupid excited about it :)

I was into the White Tortoise late last year and couldn't find one at a good price point. Today, I won one on ebay. Some times it just take patience.

That one! I know the one you won! Nicely done. It was on my watchlist. I would have been competing with you, but I actually ordered one last week from nibs.com just because I wanted it to be PERFECT via that John Mottishaw touch. Here's to us and our new Pelikans!

Currently I am obsessing over getting a Montblanc safety. I would like a no.4 or larger but would settle for a smaller one as well. :D

This may have to wait until later this year. :(

Just recently I saw a Homo Sapiens in bronze. I can't get it out of my head. I won't own one for a while (many other things that money could go toward) but it looks beautiful none the less!

Currently, I am obsessing over the TWSBI RB US which should be released any day now. With its coloration and US flag end cap, it will look very patriotic. I know its not made in the USA, but Americans love the best functioning items and this fountain pen, with its 580 chasis and $50 price tag, will be world class. Maybe it will motivate an American company to compete with TWSBI :-) who, IMHO, are the most innovative and creative pen company out there right now...

Lately, I've been obsessing over Parker 51's, and maybe getting a Waterman 52 someday. Someday.... Yes, I totally just went into wistful gaze at the wall for a moment there.

I've been all about some Eversharp Dorics for the last 6 months or so, acquiring whatever models I can get my hands on so long as they're in good shape. As someone said earlier, patience is the key! Being able to fix them yourself doesn't hurt either. I'm on a budget and these are not usually cheap pens, but I just watch and wait and dig and dig and dig on Ebay. So far I've snagged 5 of them off Ebay, 3 out of 5 in near mint, and the highest I've paid for one was $90 shipping included. Wading through listing after listing after listing pays off eventually. I just landed my first plunger filled Doric this week, I've repaired Sheaffer vac-fill's but this'll be my first attempt at a Wahl. Can't turn it down though for $45!!!

I just can't get enough of these pens!

I have to agree with the OP, I have been obsessed with the Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava ever since I got it (hence my profile picture).

Also the Pelikan M800 since that has been a classic EDC for me.

and finally the Lamy 2000, a couple years ago, I was really into that pen, but it would seem as though I have gotten over it a bit...

Visconti Divina Desert Springs.

I first saw an video review and fell in love with the finish just that second. Constantly peeked at photos, reviews and videos for about six months and finally ordered one. Opened the box at the shop and voila! It was finally in my hands.

Only now, its not inked and writing performance is meh :(

I'm obsessed with finding a shoebox full of vintage pens at a garage sale for $10. That would be so darn cool..!

I have a Desert Springs and love it....but, I have to admit that the filling system will still not fill it up completely (not a big deal since I change pens every other day). I know going into that about one out of every 4 Viscontis I buy is going to have some kind of issue.

Yeah, I have a 'Holly Grail' seems to be unreachable: Montblanc Princesse Grace de Monaco, its such a beauty one, but with my current expenses I not seen how could I own one.

What I have is the Parker Sonnet Metal and Pearl. Don't know why, but its my weakness. Maybe the sheer elegance of pear and metal bend together...

Montblanc Einstein and Da Vinci. Love the pens but they are too expensive for me to buy as users. But that doesnt stop me from coming very close to pulling the trigger on them - before common sense kicks in. Rinse and repeat every so often. If that isnt obsession, i dont know what is...
