What Pens Come In Rose Gold?

StyloBug33

Recommended Posts

Rose gold seems to be getting quite popular. I have always loved rose gold and have bought several pens with rose gold. So far, I have:

Omas Arte Italiana Milord

Montblanc 146 90th Anniversary

TWSBI 580 Black and Rose Gold

What rose gold pens do you have? Any photos? I will post some photos when I get a chance.

That's a fantastic photo. I have loved rose gold since I was little. Finding pens made out of it is fun!

http://i.imgur.com/JjxGfuM.gifI love rose gold, too, and it's been exciting to see it take off on pens this year. I don't have any pens with rose gold yet, though. I'm waiting to see if other manufacturers are going to get on the rose gold train this year, since I'm not too sure that I like the look of the 580, and the rest of the options seem to be farther up there in cost or not really to my liking. There's the 3776 Nice coming up, but the maroon Milord and those facets....

Anyways, I look forward to more rose gold porn :P

Aurora has pens trimmed in rose gold. They also had a LE 80th Anniversary in 2001 that was Rose Gold with Ruby. Here's a page where you can see a photo: http://www.fountainpenhospital.com/

Today people get tricked by (neo)capitalism :)

My Parker Sonnet has a pearl body and rose gold trims. The nib itself is rhodium.

I have a thing for rose gold too. I never knew it, until I looked at my 5 pens and three of them were rose gold-y. I have the Rose Gold twsbi and the Homo Sapiens Bronze Age. The bronze is very close in color to rose gold, although that might change with age.

Conklin's crescent filler comes in a demonstrator and a black barrel with rose gold. I have the black barrel and think it's gorgeous.

(on a realted note, I think all of the other crescent fillers Conklin currently makes are fairly unnatractive, but that's just me)

All of the Mb Meisterstucks come in rose gold for the 90th anniversary, not just the 149.

The 75th anniversary 149 was also made in rose gold with a MOP snowcap

The Mb StarWalker and the Boheme Marron are also rose gold.

It's only $200. Why wait for a review? I have 3 3776 pens and they all perform the same, why should the rose gold 3776 be any different? 3776 is a decent pen and writes with a nice wet line feels good in the hand and doesn't break when you drop it

The new platinum 3776 century "NICE"

Unfortunately the price is twice the normal 3776 century. I am waiting for review of this pen.

I am hoping to get this pen when Goulet Pens gets it in stock. I have this pen in the red, and it is a great pen.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
